AROUND OUR CAMPING
Our camping site is right on Europe’s hike-way from Potsdam to Brandenburg along the Havel river. Hereby it is the ideal start for trips to Berlin & Potsdam. Especially water sports and forest activities, biking or horse-riding are unique in this area. SAILING & BOATING
Our region Brandenburg with over 2000 lakes is the blue Donut of Berlin!
So you shouldn’t miss a scenic boat tour with your „picknick“ bag packed by Restaurant & Beer Garden Caputh! Especially the Schwielowsee lake is the Highlight for every sea & lake loving visitor. Enjoy the red-violet sunsets on your boat accompanied by a glas of wine and your beloved.

WATERSKI & WAKEBOARD
You always dreamed about walking on water or simply drinking a cocktail while watching this spectacle?
Just 5 Minutes by car and 15 min by bike you’ll find the idyllic wakeboard school Magix Wakeboarding on a big boat with a bar, palms, and café. You’ll find prices and directions here. Especially kids and beginners can try waterskiing cheaper on a small 2 pole cable ski station at the beach club in Templin, called „Templiner Strandbad“.
For the courageous ones, and a family day trip we recommend to go to our big 5 pole cable ski station "Waterskipark Zossen", 40 minutes by car from our Camping site. There you have a very big beach, cristal clear water and a big terrace with a nice restaurant. For children there is also a 2 pole cable ski provided. Skis, Wakeboard, Kneeboards, life vests & wetsuits can be rent. You'll find prices & directions here.
BIKING
You can explore the area around Caputh very well thanks to numerous bike routes. Everything is very close from us: wether you want to discover the Schwielowsee, the Sanssouci Castle or Potsdam's historic town center.
You're in Potsdam in about 20 minutes and in just 10-15 minutes you can discover many small towns around the Schwielowsee lake.
You're cycling on our many bike paths and qiet roads, the routes are inviting for leisurely bike rides and also suitable for non professionals. Please ask us for our local bike rental partners.
HORSE RIDING
Forests and lakes in and around Caputh are inviting you for a horse ride. Here you find many horse riding facilities, the nearest one is the"Caputh Reitstall" at the Caputher Lake. This facility was built in 2000 with great care and especially with experienced focus on the needs and welfare of the horse. The Beautifully designed riding area is one of the top address in equestrian sport. On the 12 hectare area of dressage athletes and the discerning leisure riders find the best conditions and training facilities. Their absolute strength and passion lie in the training in dressage.

GOLFING
Märkischer Golfclub Potsdam e.V.
Nestled in the quiet Brandenburg Nature this 13Km distant golf club provides a 27-hole course with a challenging 18-hole golf course (par 72) and a 9-hole course with narrow fairways and small greens. A public 9-hole Family Course and Top Swing Golf School are also available.

Golf- und Country Club Seddiner See
The 22Km distant challenging 18-hole championship course, harmoniously inserted into the surrounding hilly landscape is a special experience. Green fee rates (18 holes): North Course (Hcp. 36) from 65 Euro; Südplatz (Hcp. 28) from 80 euros; Discount for youngsters.

HIKING
The varied landscape and beautiful towns invite you to hike and take beautiful walks. Around Schwielowsee there are numerous hiking opportunities. Most are described in the hiking Flyer "Walking around the Schwielowsee". Once a month, the club "Heimatverein Caputh e.V." also organize guided walks. If you want to hike the region with an extended tour, we recommend a stage on the 66-Lakes trail. The European hike route E1 also passes nearby.
INLINE SKATING
The Flaeming-Skate runs for around 230 kilometers through forests, meadows and fields, far away from annoying traffic. The two to three meter wide track made of the finest asphalt leads past idyllic villages and towns in the Lower Fläming and Baruther glacial valley.
Not far from Berlin, you can spend an active holiday in nature and enjoy your free time.

CLIMBING
The "Adventure Park Potsdam" is only 11 km away and offers you one of the largest and most varied climbing forests in Germany with a total length of 1.7 kilometers and 170 different elements.
