around HIMMELREICH
Our campsite borders the European cycling and hiking route from Potsdam to Brandenburg along the Havel River and is the ideal starting point for excursions to Berlin and Potsdam. Especially water sports and activities in the forest—by bike, on foot, or on horseback—are unique here.
You can find current events and sights in the area in our event calendar or on the Schwielowsee tourism website. We have also summarized the highlights of the region for you on this page.

INLINE SKATEN
The Flaeming-Skate stretches over approximately 230 kilometers through forests, meadows, and fields, away from disruptive road traffic. The two to three-meter-wide track, made of the finest asphalt, passes idyllic villages and towns in the Lower Fläming and Baruth Urstromtal regions. Not far from Berlin, you can enjoy an active holiday in nature and make the most of your free time here.
Everything flows
Sauna raft
Cruise on the lake with the sauna raft, sweat surrounded by nature, and then jump into the cool water. It hardly gets more idyllic than this sauna experience.
Trips are possible towards Tiefer See in Potsdam or to Schwielowsee. The raft is designed for six people and costs 240 euros for three hours and two persons at the base rate.
The boat is maneuvered to the desired location, and guests are picked up again at the agreed time. For more information, click here.

WATER SKIING & WAKEBOARDING
Have you always wanted to glide over the water or watch while enjoying a cocktail in hand? Just a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute bike ride away, you'll find the idyllic Magix Wakeboarding school on a large boat with a bar, palm trees, and a café.
Especially children and beginners can try out this exciting sport affordably on a small cable system at the Templiner Strandbad.
For a bigger experience, there’s a large, beautiful cable park with 5 towers in Zossen at Akapulko Beach, Brandenburg.

Do you like animals? Then let's...
ride
Forests and lakes in Caputh and the surrounding area invite you to go for a horseback ride. There are many riding stables, the closest being the Caputh Riding Stable at Caputher Lake. The riding facility was built in the year 2000 with great care and, above all, with an experienced focus on the needs and well-being of the horse. The excellent riding terrain is considered one of the absolute top addresses in equestrian sports.

A little exercise can’t hurt.
Hiking
The diverse landscape as well as the picturesque villages invite you to relaxing hikes and pleasant walks. Around the Schwielowsee, there are numerous hiking opportunities. The most beautiful ones are described in “Hiking at Schwielowsee.” Once a month, the Caputh Heritage Association (Heimatverein Caputh e.V.) also offers guided hikes. We recommend a stage on the 66-Lakes Hiking Trail. The European long-distance trail E11 is also nearby.
